Breakers Labs Softball Organization (“Breakers Labs,” “we,” “us”) is a youth fastpitch softball organization based in North San Diego County, California. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from players, parents, coaches, and site visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect information you provide directly to us when you register a player, sign up for tryouts, create an account in our team portal, or contact us. This may include:

• Parent/guardian and player names and contact information (email address, phone number, mailing address)
• Player information relevant to participation (date of birth, graduation year, positions, uniform sizes)
• Emergency contact and health-related information a parent chooses to share with coaches
• Payment and dues records for team fees (we do not store credit card numbers)

• Operate the organization — rosters, schedules, tryouts, uniforms, and team administration
• Communicate with families by email, text message (SMS), and app notifications about schedules, events, dues, and organization news
• Maintain accounts in our team portal and provide member-only features
• Celebrate our players — for example, college commitment announcements on our website, with family consent

Text Messaging (SMS)

When you provide your mobile phone number during registration or in our team portal, you consent to receive informational text messages from Breakers Labs about team schedules, reminders, and organization announcements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get assistance by replying HELP or contacting us at breakerslabsboard@gmail.com.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us operate — such as our email/SMS delivery platform, website hosting, and file storage — solely to perform services on our behalf
• Coaches and team staff within the organization, as needed to run teams
• League, tournament, and sanctioning bodies when required for player registration and eligibility
• Authorities when required by law

Children’s Privacy

We are a youth sports organization. Player information is provided to us by a parent or legal guardian, and accounts for players under 13 are created only with parent involvement. Parents may review, update, or request deletion of their child’s information at any time by contacting us.

• Opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link included in those messages
• Opt out of text messages by replying STOP
• Ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing us
• Control what appears about your player on our public website through your team portal settings or by contacting us

Data Retention & Security

We keep information for as long as needed to run the organization and meet our legal obligations, then delete or archive it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, though no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
